ist HIER perfekt beschrieben. Allerdings in englisch. Der Gedanke in 1 Satz: große Fotoapperate sind eine Mauer zwischen Fotograf und Portrait.
Auch der Rest ist lesenswert. Das ist übrigens das, was mich mehr von der d200 abhält als das Geld.
I had a hard time getting close to people. I figured the larger bodies might be part of the problem and I think, just the fact that I knew I had a larger body in front of my face changed my relationship to the people I photographed
So eventually I tried the Nikon D40 and - wow! It wasn't the M6 or M8 feeling. But it came very close for a digital SLR. I spent a week in Tuscany with the D40 and 3 primes (20/2.8, 35/2 and 50/1.4) and it felt very good. Image quality is great for at least A4 prints and I came close to people again without offending them with a big piece of plastic in front of my face. The D40 viewfinder is off center, so only half of my face is covered. The manual focussing which you are obliged to with small Nikon primes, since most of them won't do AF on a D40, led me into the rhythm of framing and shooting I was accustomed to with my M6.

– Schade.
