Lightroom 6.5 - Objektiv unbekannt

Hallo,

das erwartete Update für Lightroom ist da. Habe soeben die neuen Updates für LR und PS heruntergeladen und aktualisiert. Die Objektive werden jetzt in Lightroom wieder erkannt und angezeigt. Es handelt sich bei mir um die Version CC, aber das Update müsste für die Kaufversion ebenso zur Verfügung stehen.

Issue

In Lightroom 2015.5 and Lightroom 6.5, the EXIF "Lens" metadata field is hidden for some cameras.

Note: The metadata is still in the file, it's just hidden from display.

Use these steps to display the hidden lens metadata.

Update Lightroom to 2015.5.1 or 6.5.1.
Open your Lightroom 6.5 catalog with Lightroom 6.5.1.
Select any file from an affected camera model that you had imported into Lightroom 6.5.
Choose Metadata > Save Metadata to File (Cmd/Ctrl + S), to insure that any Develop settings made to the file will be maintained.
Choose Metadata > Read Metadata from File.

To verify that the Lens metadata is being displayed, expand the Metadata panel in Lightroom’s Library Module, select EXIF from the panel header’s pop-up menu, and look for the Lens field, which will be populated with the correct Lens information for the selected file.
Correct any virtual copies impacted by this issue

If you created virtual copies from files that were missing Lens metadata, use these steps to correct them, after you perform the above steps:

In the Develop module, create a new virtual copy from the repaired master photo.
Select the old virtual copy, and choose Settings > Copy Settings.
Select the new virtual copy and choose Settings > Paste Settings.
Delete the old virtual copy.

Danke für die Info.
Ich habe das Update auch gerade heruntergeladen und installiert. Danach kam Lightroom (auf meinem Mac) erstmal nicht mehr auf die Beine, sondern ist immer unmittelbar nach dem Starten des Programms abgestürzt.
Erst ein Neustart des Rechners hat Abhilfe gebracht.
Nach dem erneuten Einlesen der Metadaten der betroffenen Bilder werden die Objektivdaten nun wieder korrekt angezeigt.

Hallo,

Danke nochmal an Peter und Wolfram - nach mehreren Versuchen akzeptierte Adobe dann, dass diese Version (6.5) nicht mehr aktuell ist - und lud den Patch auf 6.5.1. Mit dem Sichern und wieder-Laden der Metadaten der betroffenen Bilder sind die Daten nun sichtbar - und anwählbar.
Schön - die Geduld hat sich gelohnt
