Hier eine Meinung zum Autofocus der D300 im Vergleich zur D3:
No MB-D10
AF is impressive. As far as I could tell, no difference between the cameras.
Now, I'm not a sport shooter and have no clue how the fancy AF systems worked at tracking, but I did get to try it on some subjects. These is from memory:
when 51point 3D tracking is on and the 3 way switch at the back is in the middle position (don't know the technical name) the camera will track whatever you locked on at first. Sometimes it doesn't use just 1 point, but highlights 3 or 4 of them, like following the siluette of the subject. I tried it with a static person and moved the camera and the focus points still traked it!! impressive.
As for sensibility at the outer edges, I did no try it. But unless it was TOTALLY dark, the little buggers always seemed to AF with no problem.
CSM f2: I'll let you know later, when I get it back today.
Samples: While Nikon gave the OK to shoot JPGs (they even let people take pics with their own cards and take them home) I'm not confortable spreading my shots. feel free to PM me and I'll send them to you. I only ask that you please PLEASE don't distribute them.
